2010 Festival dates announced: 18-20 April 2010, Valencia, Spain


The first Festival for media creativity & innovation

imagesLaunched in Venice in 2007, The Festival of Media is the destination for a new era of marketing communications. Referred to by some as “The Davos of the advertising industry”, the Festival brings global brand managers and marketing directors together with the leaders of the media and communications industry. Underlying the Festival are five (now infamous…) phrases that work together to create profound changes in the way that marketing is conducted and in the many business models that underpin the advertising industry including fragmentation, convergence, display vs. performance, disintermediation, and globalisation.

These trends help to explain why companies as seemingly diverse as Aegis and AOL, Adconion and eBay, Orange and Microsoft, Viacom and Sony, and The Wall Street Journal and Vodafone all support the event. Since its launch year, we have hosted more than 225 speakers, fostered more than 80 commercial partnerships, and attracted almost 2,000 delegates from over 45 countries – making it one of the fastest growing B2B events in the world today.

In 2009, the Festival moved to Valencia, Spain. As an additional element, C Squared devised and launched a global awards ceremony, in partnership with Advertising Age magazine in the US, to fully reflect, celebrate and benchmark the new kinds of creative media work being done around the world.
